Sunday is the last day of our collection of school supplies for the children of Family Promise. Thank you so much for shopping and donating to help them start school fully supplied. Over the month of August we will collect a care basket for Matt Phillips. Please feel free to leave your cards and gifts

Our generosity is informed by the simple theological truth that God has blessed us infinitely with all of the gifts of Creation. Our lives, our labor, our love is devoted to the mission of the Church when we take stock and realize that our lives and our response to God’s generosity are Rooted in Abundance.

Sunday is the Ninth Sunday after Pentecost, but it is also the Dousman Derby Days parade. As such, while 8 a.m. will be a complete service, the 10 a.m. will be abridged. We need to be at the parade starting point by 10:30 a.m., so we will have readings, prayers, and then communion from the

THANK YOU! Strawberry Fest was completely and delightfully a success, and that is because of YOU! I had been fretting over the uncontrollables (mainly the weather), but you all pulled together and created something amazing! We will restrain ourselves, however, and enjoy a fun coffee hour potluck with outdoor games following both services this Sunday. According to

Happy Birthday!!! Pentecost is the start of the church’s ministry in the world. Jesus tells the disciples to wait in Jerusalem, and Pentecost is the result. The Holy Spirit descends and enters each disciple, both a fulfillment of Jesus’ promise of a “comforter” and a future promise that all who are baptized will likewise have

Spring has fully sprung and we are ready to get to cleaning! While our wonderful cleaners are managing our general tidiness, Sunday we are polishing pews and vacuuming seats for our Annual Clean Up Day! If you can stay and polish a pew or two, the whole church will be sparkling in time for the
