Thank you to everyone who helped St. Mary’s participate in Derby Days this year! We sold over 400 root beer floats in our first foray into being a Derby Days vendor. Minus our expenses, that means that we raised $1631.84. Thank you!
We are now in August, looking towards the return of school. Outreach is hoping to assist families at Dousman schools with direct help – gift cards to stores and for gas to help families in need. To do that, however, we need your help. Please consider donating either money or gift cards to this direct outreach opportunity. It will be ongoing, but our hope is to have a solid foundation before school starts.
Speaking of September, our Annual Meeting is coming up soon. We will have one service on September 8 at 9 a.m., followed by a potluck and the Annual Meeting. I sent out requests for Annual Meeting reports about a month ago. This is your reminder that I need your Annual Meeting reports by August 15. Thank you!
I will be away on vacation the last two weeks of August. I want to thank Father Scott for preaching and presiding on August 18 and Father Ryan for preaching and presiding on August 25. You can contact Father Ryan or Deacon Chuck with pastoral care needs from August 18-31.
