Happy Second Sunday of Easter! We are a mere seven days into this 50 day season. I pray you are finding occasions of joy, triumph, grace, and love in your life.
Next Sunday is our Ministry Fair! I hope you will join us following either service to learn more about the many ministries of St. Mary’s. Should you wish to learn more about a specific ministry, please sign up on its informational sheet. Should you wish to start a new ministry at St. Mary’s, please let me know.
Next Sunday is your last chance to order a St. Mary’s t-shirt. There are three style options: Crew Neck ($9/shirt), Polo Shirt ($16/shirt) or V-Neck ($11/shirt). All shirts will include the Episcopal Shield with the words: “St. Mary’s Episcopal Church / ALL Are Welcome” underneath. This logo will be on the upper left side of the shirt. To order, simply fill out an order form (found in the Narthex), and return it with the appropriate funds. Thank you!
In case you missed it, Kim and Diane have elected to take a hiatus from the fall thru spring “Bingo Nights” after almost four years. I want to thank Kim and Diane for four amazing years, and also invite anyone who might like to plan a Bingo Night the opportunity to do so.
We have two upcoming formation events: Bible Study for the Gospel of Luke on Sunday, May 18 at 9 a.m. in the Library. Our next Homebrewed Faith is on Wednesday, April 30 at 7 p.m. at Johnny Pizzas in Oconomowoc. Pastor Leanne will be leading a discussion of Resurrection. Please join us for either event or both. No need to sign up, just show up!
Father Ryan is being installed as the new rector of Holy Communion, Lake Geneva on Wednesday, May 21 at 6 p.m. We have a sign-up sheet posted for those who’d like to carpool to the event.
Finally, please sign up for the Dousman Chamber of Commerce Dockhounds game on June 19 at 6:35 p.m. The Chamber has club seating. For $55/apiece that includes:
- Two (2) drink tokens
- Indoor and outdoor seating
- Two (2) hour buffet of ballpark favorites including burgers, brats and hot dogs.
