From Mother Pippa 3.21.2023

Holy Week is just around the corner. This Sunday is the Fifth Sunday in Lent, the last Sunday “in Lent” before Palm Sunday. Our Seminarian Matt will be preaching, so please do join us for service.

Following the 10 a.m. service, if you are able to stick around and help set up for Trish’s funeral, I would appreciate it. Normally I would switch the frontal and move the paschal candle myself, but I am unable to do so at this time.

Sunday is your last chance to submit your donations for Easter flowers and for Tricia’s Troops. There are Easter flower forms in the Narthex, please fill them out and put them in the offering plate.
Donations of goods to Tricia’s Troops can be placed in the bin in the Narthex. If you would like to donate money to Tricia’s Troops, please place your funds in a marked envelope, or write “Tricia’s Troops” on the memo line of your check.

We have a lot of activities coming up, please join us for:
March 29 at 6 p.m. – Soup and Substance (Stations of the Cross)
April 1 at noon – Trish Van Peursem’s Funeral
April 2 – Palm Sunday
April 2 at 11 a.m. – Interactive Holy Week, followed by Easter Egg Hunt
April 6 at 7 p.m. – Maundy Thursday Service
April 7 at noon and 7 p.m. – Good Friday Services
April 8 at 7 p.m. – Easter Vigil Service
April 9 – Easter Sunday
April 10 – Office Closed

Also, please keep me in your prayers. I return to the doctor on April 11 and am hoping my bones will have healed enough that I am able to start putting weight on my ankle again.

Prayers and Blessings,
Mother Pippa
