I am in the process of putting together my Annual Reports, and I am consistently awed at this community! I was looking back over the last twelve months and was amazed at how much you all have accomplished. Some of the highlights include: 4348 people attending services, 54 Adult Ed classes, 33 home communion visits, and $40,718 given away in outreach! I am beyond blessed to be a part of the St. Mary’s community.
September is going to be an odd month. September 6 is Labor Day weekend, but we will still have Healing Prayer and Potluck Coffee Hour. September 13 is the Annual Meeting: one service at 9 a.m., potluck at 10 a.m., and Annual Meeting at 10:30 a.m. September 20 we will have outdoor service at 8 a.m. (weather permitting) and Jessica Frost will be speaking at the service about the ministry of Safe Families for Children. We donated to them at Easter and there are a variety of ways we can get involved as individuals and as a community. On September 27 we will have outdoor service at 10 a.m. (weather permitting) and Jordan Robinson-Delaney will preach at both services.
September will also mark the return of a variety of Adult Formation options. Thank you to everyone for your emails, we will try to get the classes scheduled ASAP.
We have an upcoming Fellowship Hike! Carol is taking a group on an easy hike on Saturday, September 19. Please sign up in the Parish Hall. Time and location are to be determined.
