This Sunday our postulant, Jordan Robinson-Delaney, is preaching! As part of Jordan’s formation, she is spending time at St. Mary’s for practical experience, including preaching. I look forward to hearing her words.

Outreach meets this Sunday between services to plan our November, Advent and Christmas Outreach. If you would like to join us, we are in the Parish Hall at 9 a.m.
Next weekend (October 2-3) the Diocese of Wisconsin gathers for our annual Diocesan Convention. St. Mary’s just had our Annual Meeting, and this is the Diocesan version. Please keep us in your prayers as we gather in Steven’s Point to meet, vote, pray and plan.
October has a couple of special offerings. We will be praying for a peaceful election in the Chapel on Wednesdays at 6 p.m. We’ll meet on October 7, 14, 21 and 28 to pray and calm our hearts as we approach the general election.
Our annual Pet Blessing is coming up on October 10 at 10 a.m. Please bring your pet (or a photo) to the North Parking Lot for a short service and blessing.
October 10 is also the return of our Saturday Eucharists at 5 p.m. We’ll meet in the church and use the bulletin for Sunday, but there won’t be any music.
Finally, please mark your calendars (and RSVP)! October 11 is Pledge Sunday! Father Ryan will preach, we’ll have one service at 9 a.m. followed by a catered meal from Bryant’s on the Round. I hope to see you there!
