It’s the first Sunday of the month which means that we will have healing prayer following both services as well as our monthly Potluck Coffee Hour. Thank you to everyone who brought a dish to share and to the Vestry for doing set-up and clean up.
If you are a reader, greeter, acolyte, altar guild, or coffee hour host, please let us know when you are unavailable in July-September. Lynn has the Ministry Sign Out sheets posted in the Parish Hall.
Strawberry Fest is fast approaching, and we can use your help in letting people know. There are flyers in the Narthex. Please take a couple and post them at your local coffee shop, bookstore, sports facility, etc.
Now that we are in the season after Pentecost, you will notice that the readings stop bouncing around as much. At the moment, we are reading about Abraham’s journey in Genesis, Paul’s letter to the Romans and Jesus’ works in Matthew. The readings will go sequentially week by week, and hopefully you will gain a better feel for the context around each reading.
