Thank you to everyone who is taking Strawberry Fest flyers and spreading them throughout the community. If you would like us to print you any flyers, please let me know, I will be delighted to get them to you.
The whole Parish Hall smelled like strawberries this week after the berries were delivered on Monday and prepped on Tuesday. Thank you to everyone who came out to help wash, core, slice and bag the berries. Strawberry Fest comes closer each day.
On Wednesday, June 12 we will have a Flower Pounding Class at 7 p.m. Carol Chase will help us transfer the shape and color of flowers onto paper so we can make cards or stationary. It looks like a lot of fun, so I hope you will sign up and let us know that you are coming.
Other signups include Strawberry Fest volunteer and donation opportunities, ministry sign-out for July-September and Outdoor Fellowship (both hiking and kayaking).
Our next Movie Night has been scheduled for Saturday, July 13. As has been our custom, the potluck will be at 5:30 p.m. and the movie will start at 6 p.m. The movie is yet to be announced, but the other nights have all been great fun for all ages.
Finally, I want to apologize for missing the eNews last week. It became my responsibility May 1 when Lynn’s hours were reduced, and I had it all ready to go, but forgot to send it. I will work to do better in the future, and might even add reminders to my calendar going forward.
Prayers and Blessings,
Mother Pippa
