This Sunday is our 39th Strawberry Fest at St. Mary’s! Please join us Saturday (June 27) to help set up tents, tables, chairs and put signs up everywhere!
Saturday afternoon is the ideal time to drop off your bake sale donations. Please have them individually packaged and labeled (as a favorite dessert, or with common allergies).
We are invited to celebrate the 4th of July at Zion Episcopal Church in Oconomowoc. They are right on Fowler Lake and have a great view of the fireworks. Bring a dish to pass, a blanket or chair, and other outdoor accessories (like bug spray!). You can park in Zion’s parking lot, but come early to get a good spot! The potluck starts at 6:30 p.m. and the fireworks begin at dusk (around 9:20 p.m.) Zion is located at 237 N Lake Rd in Oconomowoc.
We’ve scheduled our second highway clean-up on July 11. Please sign up in the Parish Hall so we know to expect you. The team will meet at the Sawyer Road Park-n-Ride (Delafield Road and Sawyer Road). Please bring a pair of gloves. Grabbers are also recommended.
I want thank everyone who donates to my discretionary fund. One way you might not have thought to support the fund is with your credit card rewards. If you redeem them for gift cards to Kroger and Kwik Trip, I can hand them out to our neighbors in need. I am also very happy to go take your donations to the store to purchase the cards. Please remember that these funds are available to parishioners as well, if you need help. Thank you!
Lastly, my vacation is coming soon. I’ll be here through July 1, and then I’m headed out for two weeks. I’ll look forward to seeing you when I return on July 19.
