Thank you to everyone who signed up for a new ministry or two at last Sunday’s Ministry Fair! We will have the signup sheets available this Sunday as well for those who were unable to join us next week. I hope you find something that brings you joy!
May is an incredibly busy month! This Sunday (weather permitting) we will worship down by the river at 8 a.m. Outdoor services in July and August often needed to be cancelled, and I am hoping that May and September will work a little bit better. This Sunday is also our annual Bike Blessing at 9 a.m. Please bring your wheeled conveyances to the church and I will bless them.
May 10 is Mother’s Day. As is our custom, we will have flowers available for the women of the parish. The men of the parish are invited to bring a dish to share for coffee hour (please coordinate with Deacon Chuck).
May 16 is our first Adopt a Highway for 2026. This is always a slightly bigger pickup as it includes trash for all the winter months. Please meet us in the Sawyer Road Park N Ride (Delafield Road and Sawyer Road) and bring a pair of gloves. Thank you to Jim for organizing this.
May 17 is our annual Church clean up. Have you seen our windows? It’s past time for them to be cleaned. Please come prepared to clean a window or two (or five) so that we can see the beautiful Wisconsin spring and summer that surround us.
May 17 is also (weather permitting) our 10 a.m. outdoor service. Assuming the weather cooperates, we will worship down by the river. Feel free to bring a lawn chair, or you can grab a folding chair from the shed.
May 24 is Pentecost. We will have one combined service at 9 a.m. as well as a potluck coffee hour. Wear red and bring a dish to share.
May 31 we are invited to join Emmanuel UCC for their service and a start of summer picnic. We will have church at St. Mary’s at 8 a.m., as well as coffee hour at 9 a.m. At 9:30 a.m., we are invited over to Emmanuel for worship, followed by a potluck at 10:30 a.m. There is a sign up sheet in the Parish Hall.
Prayers and Blessings,
Mother Pippa
