This Sunday (March 30) is our last combined service until Pentecost. We are returning to the 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. services on April 6, though we will have four or five combined services for special occasions. Don’t forget to wake up earlier (or later) in April for church.
We will also continue to offer weekday worship on Wednesdays at 9 a.m. (in the Chapel) and 6 p.m. (in the Church). These half hour Eucharists include the readings, prayers and communion, but skip the music.
Outreach met last Sunday, and we are going to raise funds to provide four local families with Easter dinner. We have so much fun at Thanksgiving, collecting, shopping and delivering, that we thought we’d try it at Easter too. We’ll collect funds through April 13, and go shopping April 16 to get the families their Easter groceries. There will be a box in the Narthex to collect donations.
Finally, thank you to everyone who has donated to Tricia’s Troops thus far. We took a load of donations to them this week, but will continue to collect through Easter, April 20. Our Easter Offering this year will be divided three ways between Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Center (MADACC), the Kettle Moraine Food Pantry, and the St. Mary’s Discretionary Fund.
