Our first ministry training is this Sunday! Following both services, we will be talking about what it means to be an acolyte. All are welcome, whether you are a current acolyte, interested in becoming an acolyte, or just curious. We will pass out new guides for acolyting as well as discussing the way you contribute to our communal worship. Thank you!
We have a new table in the narthex, full of treasures looking for a new home. We’ll sell items on the last Wednesday of the month. Collections will be the Tuesday before. Helpers will be needed to sort, price, and sell. There will be restrictions on what can be brought – items must be small enough to fit on a table top. The sales will go to the St. Mary’s Discretionary Fund. If you have any questions, please contact Mary or Marit.
Our first movie night of 2026 is coming up on February 14. We’ll watch The African Queen at 3 p.m. Free popcorn will be provided, so just bring your favorite non-alcoholic beverage, sit down, relax and enjoy a good movie. All are welcome!
St. Mary’s has a new outreach project – a free pantry. Much like a free library, this is a small outreach to our community. Please bring canned goods, staples, etc. and place them on the shelves. Our neighbors will then be able to pick up what they need. We have a refrigerator for items that need to be kept temperature controlled.
Finally, we have a team putting together a new Cook Book. There are two ways to get involved:
1. Drop off a favorite recipe in the recipe box in the Parish Hall
2. Join the Team! Our next meeting is April 19 at 9 a.m.
