From Mother Pippa 2.27.2024

Blessed third week of Lent. I hope you are finding the places and ways that God is springing up in your life. As we swing between spring and winter, I hope you find yourself standing firm on God’s foundation.

We have successfully raised the necessary money for two pet chip readers for the Summit Police Department! Thank you to everyone for your generosity. We have also raised $400 towards two new AED devices for the Summit PD. Thank you for your generosity, you can donate by dropping off your money in the wooden box in the Narthex, or by labeling it “Lent Outreach” and putting it in the plate.

As we continue to look at ways to be better stewards of our resources, I am curious if anyone would prefer going paperless for their pledge statements, mailings and/or bulletins. To be clear, we will continue to print all of these for people who prefer it. However, should you prefer to receive your communications solely by email, you can either sign up in the Parish Hall, or email Lynn or myself. As my 7th grade Social Studies teacher used to say: “We are trying to save the planet, save the whales and save money.”

Sunday is your last chance to sign up for the Dousman Chamber of Commerce Member Dinner. It should be a ton of fun, and I hope you will join us on March 23.

Prayers and Blessings,
Mother Pippa
