From Mother Pippa 10.5.2025

I am away this week in Richmond, Virginia at a conference that helps me identify my values, and live the life God’s calling me to. It’s put on by Church Pension Group, with the hope that clergy are intentional about their ministry, self-care and financial planning. I look forward to being back on Tuesday.

We continue to collect winter clothing for the Hope Center. You all filled up the container in the Narthex, and so we’ve taken one load over already. Bravo! We are also collecting money and gift cards for our college students so we can send them a care package next month.

This Sunday is our second Rabbi Bites class. The theme is: When It Is Right to Be Wrong. I hope you will join Sally in the Library for Bible Study!

Our Diocesan Convention is coming up on October 10-11. Please keep your delegates in your prayers: Marian, Diane, Sally, Deacon Chuck and myself. This is the second convention as the reunited Diocese of Wisconsin and I am eager to see how we continue to regrow our Episcopal bonds with one another.

At St. Mary’s on October 11 we will have our Prayer Shawl Group at 10 a.m., and Movie Afternoon at 4 p.m. We will be watching Green and Gold.

Please save the date! Our pledge Sunday is October 19. We will have one service at 9 a.m. Father Ryan will be here to preach and we will have a wonderful catered meal from Bishop’s Sweets. I hope to see you all there!

Prayers and Blessings,
Mother Pippa
