Happy Father’s Day! I have shopped, melted butter, dissolved sugar and am ready to present those who father with fudge for this Sunday. We will pray for fathers at church on Sunday, and send them home with a sweet treat.
Thank you to everyone who donated bedspreads and funds to Lad Lake. I delivered 15 bedspreads this Monday to Bridgett Brown, Director of Development at Lad Lake. Don’t forget that Lad Lake’s Kettle Classic is coming up on Saturday, June 21. You can walk, run, or ride your bike to support their students. You can also donate money. Thank you for all your support!
Jenny McCombe is being ordained a priest on Saturday, June 28 at 10:30 a.m. at All Saints’ Cathedral in Milwaukee. Jenny did her internship at St. Mary’s in the spring of 2022, and now she is being ordained. If you can’t make it to her ordination, you could send her a card (ask me for her address).
Don’t forget to sign out on the Sundays you are unavailable for July-September. You have two more weeks.
Finally, Sunday is your last chance to sign up for Strawberry Fest. We have an amazing day that takes all our volunteers. Thank you in advance for volunteering and making this a truly incredible festival!
