From Mother Pippa 11.9.2025

St. Mary’s is a place that delights in feeding people, and we have ample opportunities this month. First we have our Food Drive for Kettle Moraine Food Pantry. SNAP is partially funded, but delayed, and so we are trying to keep our neighbors fed. We have a list of items the food pantry suggests in the bulletin, or you can donate money instead.
We are also collecting funds for four thanksgiving meals for families from the Dousman Schools. I am working with the school counselor for the names, and we will go shopping on November 23. Please let me know if you would like to go shopping. We will have a separate box to collect for our Thanksgiving families.

This Sunday we are observing Veteran’s Day and giving thanks for people who dedicate their lives to their communities. Our members of the armed forces dedicate their lives to service, protection and care of their country. Blessings to all who have served or who are currently serving.

This Sunday marks the return of our Sunday adult formation class, Rabbi Bites. We’ll explore the topics of Alone (November 9), Give it Away (November 16), and How We Grow (November 23). In December we will have three weeks of Incarnation focused classes: Justice (December 7), A Child Has Been Born for Us (December 14) and the Unforced Rhythms of Grace (December 21). All classes are at 9 a.m. in the Library.

Prayers and Blessings,
Mother Pippa
