This Sunday is our Annual Meeting! We kick off our Program Year by reflecting back on the previous year, and making goals for the coming year. I hope you will join us for service at 9 a.m., potluck at 10 a.m., and the Annual Meeting at 10:30 a.m. For the potluck please make sure you do not bring any fish or shellfish. Thank you!
You may notice new yellow signs around the church. While I hope we never need to call 911, these signs include the church’s name, address, location and phone number. Is there a spot you think we should post these signs? Please let me know. While we would ideally never have an emergency, it seems wiser to post the signs unnecessarily than to lack them in a crisis. We also have an AED in the Parish Hall, as well as Narcan. Again, I hope we never need to do CPR, use the AED, or have an overdose, but I am glad we are prepared. Are you interested in learning how to do CPR, use an AED machine or give someone Narcan? Please let me know.
I am really excited to see the return of all our regular classes and services. I hope you’ll consider joining us in the Chapel on Wednesdays (9 a.m. Morning Prayer/Eucharist and 9:30 a.m. Discussion Group), or in Church on Saturdays at 5 p.m. We also have a series of classes starting on Monday nights (9/15 – Wills & Trusts, 9/22 & 9/29 – Funeral Planning Workshops). Saturday, September 13 is our first Movie Afternoon, we’ll be watching Lilies of the Field at 4 p.m.
It’s a wonderfully busy time at St. Mary’s, thank you so much for your faithful engagement in the community.
Prayers and Blessings,
Mother Pippa
