This Sunday is your last chance to “sign-out” of ministry for the next three months. On Monday, Lynn will take everyone’s information and put together the Lay Ministry Schedule for October-December. Since this includes Christmas, please make sure you’ve signed out on the days that you are not available.
One of my goals this year is to reinforce the training for everyone who serves in one of our Sunday Ministries. This includes: Acolytes, Altar Guild, Chalice Bearers, Coffee Hour Hosts, Greeters, and Readers. Now, you might have no questions at all. But, if you have any questions, I hope you’ll ask. I am working on some “customaries” for each of these ministries. A customary gives step by step directions and helpful hints as you go about these important ministries. I’d really appreciate feedback as I try to ensure there is no “secret knowledge” at St. Mary’s. Thank you for your help!
Our annual Pet Blessing is coming up on Saturday, September 27 at 10 a.m. I hope you’ll bring your pets either in person or by photo for a blessing. Please feel free to invite your friends and family as well – all our pets can do with an extra blessing!
