From Mother Pippa 12.21.2025

Today (December 21) is the start of our Christmas services. We will have Advent IV at the 8 a.m. service. At 10 a.m. we will have a spontaneous (no-rehearsal) Christmas Pageant. At 4 p.m. we will have our Longest Night service in the Chapel.

Please invite your family and friends to our Christmas Eve services. We will have two: one at 2 p.m. and one at 9 p.m. The 2 p.m. service will be in the Chapel, and the 9 p.m. will be in the Church. At 8:30 p.m. we’ll start singing Christmas carols in the church. Christmas Day we have one service at 10 a.m. in the Church. The first Sunday after Christmas (December 28) we will have a service of Lessons and Carols at 9 a.m.

Today is your last chance to donate towards Christmas groceries for four families from Dousman Elementary school. We will go shopping tomorrow (December 22) and deliver the groceries that same day. If you are able to help us with shopping, please let me know. There will be a wooden box in the Narthex to collect donations.

Today is also your last chance to drop off gifts for Lad Lake and Mary’s Room. Thank you so much for your generosity to these wonderful ministries that look after our youth.

Our Christmas offering this year is directed solely to the St. Mary’s discretionary fund. This year alone I’ve given out 238 sets of gift cards (one $50 Metro Market card and one $25 Kwik Trip card) to members of the Dousman community. Grocery prices are rising and our neighbors need gas to get to work, school and doctor’s appointments. Thank you for your generous support!

Prayers and Blessings,
Mother Pippa
