From Mother Pippa 1.4.2026

Happy New Year! Sunday is the 11th Day of Christmas (eleven pipers piping), and I hope you are feeling the warmth of the incarnation in your life (if not outside). Sunday is also our first trial of a “Potluck Coffee Hour.” Thank you to people for your feedback about the importance of food at Coffee Hour. You can sign up to bring a dish to share for this week, or the first weeks of February and March. If you would like to sign up to host Coffee Hour on a specific date, please sign up in the Parish Hall.

This Wednesday, January 7, we will return to reading God Didn’t Make Us to Hate Us, in the Chapel at 9:30 a.m. These short reflections often lead to deeper discussion. All are welcome to join us for this book group, and we have worship starting at 9 a.m.

Mark your calendar – on January 17 we will have two ordinations at St. Paul’s Cathedral, in Fond du Lac at 11 a.m. We will be ordaining Nate Irvine to the transitional diaconate and the Rev. Michael Hackbarth to the priesthood. Should you not want to drive up to Fond du Lac, we will have Bingo at St. Mary’s that evening.

Finally, at the end of January (January 31) the Welcome Team is hosting Card Game Night at 3 p.m. Bring a deck of cards and your favorite rules and we’ll have a fun time of cards and conversation.

Happy New Year!
Prayers and Blessings,
Mother Pippa
