From Mother Pippa 1.25.2026

We have all kinds of fellowship opportunities coming up. Our next one is our Card Game Night on January 31 from 3-5 p.m. Bring a deck of cards and come ready to have fun. Snacks will be provided, so just bring your favorite non-alcoholic beverage, and any ideas for a favorite card game.

The next day is our February Potluck Coffee Hour. Those who would like can bring a dish to share, and the Vestry has agreed to manage clean up. This is an experiment to see if it gives our hosts a little reprieve. You can also sign up to host Coffee Hour on a specific date by signing up in the Parish Hall. Thank you!

The following Saturday, February 7, we are gathering in the church at 10 AM to clean and polish the pews in the church. A donation has been received from a parish member to purchase the supplies needed for this activity. Put on your work clothes and head on over. Remember many hands make light work.

February 7 we will also have our makeup Bingo night. All ages welcome! Popcorn will be served. Please bring a wrapped white elephant with you. Bingo will begin at 3 p.m.

Our next movie night is February 14 at 4 p.m. and we will be watching African Queen. Free popcorn will be provided, so just bring your favorite non-alcoholic beverage, sit down, relax and enjoy a good movie. All are welcome!

Finally, on February 15 we will welcome Archdeacon Bill Dunlop. For churches and members of the diocese, the role of the archdeacon represents a bridge between the parishes and the diocese. How that is experienced at the parish level is seen in many ways. Through visits and work with parishes, lay leaders, and clergy the archdeacon is an advisor and mentor. The goal is to help make the Church’s work visible in the wider community, advocating for social justice, and initiatives that reflect Christ’s love. February 15 is also our wonderful Pancake Coffee Hour. Bring your appetite as we get together for pancakes and fellowship time before the start of Lent on Ash Wednesday. All are welcome!

Prayers and Blessings,
Mother Pippa
