From Mother Pippa

As we leave April behind and enter into May, I hope that you are finding joy and hope in the world around you. I am personally hoping for warmer weather in the near future, and some more sunshine.

I do want to make sure that you know that Thursday and Sunday services are both on Facebook and Zoom. If you would like to see other people’s faces, join us on Zoom, but it is also live-streamed to Facebook and then saved there so you can see it later. Thank you to everyone who has been joining us for worship.

We have also added more opportunities for Adult Formation. Sunday mornings at 9 a.m. we are focusing on the readings for Sunday. Thank you to everyone who joined us last week, and I hope to see you this Sunday. I also want to remind you that our monthly Bible Study is coming up on May 5. We will be talking about Matthew 18-22, the Community Discourses. This section deals more with the communal life of the church, how we should live together and treat each other.

Finally, I want to let you know that for Pentecost, May 31, the Diocese is putting together a Virtual Choir to sing Hymn 516, Come Down, O Love Divine. If you would like to send in your vocal or instrumental track, please click on the link below for more information. The National Cathedral had a Virtual Choir on Easter Sunday, and it was a very moving experience. I’m really looking forward to seeing the Diocese of Milwaukee’s version.

Prayers and Blessings,
Mother Pippa
