From Mother Pippa

I hope you were able to watch the Diocesan service on Sunday, there were over 800 households watching, either through youtube or facebook! Thank you to everyone who joined the St. Mary’s Coffee Hour at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. It was chaotic, but lovely to see all your faces.

This coming Sunday is Palm Sunday, and we will be worshiping as a whole Diocese as we enter into Holy Week. Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter Vigil, however, will be Zoom services with St. Mary’s. We will try to stream them from St. Mary’s sanctuary, I hope you will join us:

Maundy Thursday, April 9 at 7 p.m.

Good Friday, April 10 at noon

Good Friday, April 10 at 7 p.m.

Easter Vigil, April 11 at 7 p.m.

We will continue to support Watertown Humane Society once we return to church, but if you would like to help now, you can send a check made out to Watertown Humane Society or a gift card to Sally K. or to the church. Otherwise, we will resume our collection once it’s safe to congregate again.

Thank you to everyone who is mailing in their pledge or giving online. I really appreciate you taking care of St. Mary’s. I continue to call through the directory, and I have been so heartened by people’s willingness to reach out and help one another. You give me hope.

I am planning to start offering a mid-week Eucharist on Thursdays at 11 a.m. We’ll begin after Easter on April 16, and the zoom link is:

Take care, stay safe and prayers and blessings to you all!
