From Mother Pippa 9.10.2024

Our Annual Meeting was last Sunday, and I want to sincerely thank everyone who showed up and offered their thoughts and opinions. I also want to emphasize that you don’t need to wait for the Annual Meeting. I am always glad to hear your ideas and views. You are also welcome to share them with your Vestry members. Our current Vestry is: Jane, John, Tom, Craig, Diane and Sally. In January our new Vestry will start their work, and they are: Tom, Craig, Jim, Terry, Dian, Megan and John. We have one opening if anyone else is interested in joining the Vestry.

Now that the Annual Meeting has concluded, we can plan Stewardship. I want to thank the six people who have signed up to be a part of the Stewardship Team, we will meet soon. Stewardship will kick off October 27, and pledge Sunday will be November 10. Please save the date, as we are planning to have a lovely celebration as we give thanks to God for all God has given to our care.

Finally, I am hoping to start a monthly Bible Study on Sunday mornings and am looking at having another one on a weekday evening. Please let me know if you have any interest, and if there’s any Bible book or topic you’d like to start studying.
