From Mother Pippa 2.16.2025

Sunday is our first Bishop’s Visit with Bishop Matt Gunter, the Bishop of Wisconsin. I hope you’ll join us to meet Bishop Matt, as well as welcoming five new Episcopalians into the church. John, Carol, Marian, Mary, and Diane are all becoming official Episcopalians on Sunday.

Lent is on the way, and Soup and Substance is right around the corner. For our Lenten study this year, we will be reading Entering the Passion of Jesus: A Beginner’s Guide to Holy Week by biblical scholar Amy-Jill Levine. In this program, Levine shows us how the text raises ethical and spiritual questions for the reader, and how we all face risk in our Christian experience.
