This Sunday marks the end of our October Outreach collections. So, Sunday is your last chance to drop off winter clothing for the Hope Center and donations for our seven college kids’ care packages. Thank you so much to everyone who has donated thus far. We have filled up our donation bin twice for Hope Center and the donations for the college kids are more than generous.
Carol is back from North Carolina and will be speaking at both Coffee Hours about her experience working with Samaritan’s Purse to help out the people affected by Hurricane Helene. I hope you will join us at Coffee Hour to hear about Carol’s experience and the hope it offers in the midst of weather catastrophe.
This Sunday we will ask you to RSVP for the Consecration Sunday meal on November 10. As Jordan said on Sunday, no one does a potluck like St. Mary’s, but it’s an important part of the stewardship program we are using to have this be a day of celebration, and thus the meal will be catered. So please RSVP to let us know how many are coming. I will be soliciting donations to cover the cost of this meal so it does not come out of our budget.
Thank you all for all your dedication and support – St. Mary’s is truly a special place of love, fellowship and faith.
