With the spread of Omicron and the burden it has placed on our health care system, the bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Milwaukee has recommended that we take a look at the way we worship.

St. Mary's Vestry met this week to discuss best practices for the next six weeks. We put a lot of thought into this and want to express our empathy to anyone who is struggling with the changes in our church and in our world.

For the next six weeks we are going to require masks at St. Mary's, regardless of your vaccination status. As always, if you feel sick or have COVID symptoms, please stay at home.

We are also going to pause Coffee Hour for the next six weeks.

We are also planning to restructure the way we serve communion, to space out the people at the altar rail at any given time.

We will continue to offer online worship, posted to Facebook and YouTube Sunday afternoon as well as radio church at 10 a.m. on 97.9 FM

Mother Pippa is also available to bring communion to your home.

These steps are meant to help balance our need to gather with being kind to our overworked medical personnel. As the situation continues to change, so might the way we respond.

Thank you for your patience at this time. Feel free to call the office and check back often on the website as things continue to change. Mother Pippa will email the parish again should things change drastically.
